Daughter charged in connection to mother's murder
EAST FELICIANA PARISH- Lisa Keller faces an accessory to murder charge after her mom, Katherine Hartman, was found dead wrapped-up in a sheet. Detectives say Hartman was dumped in front of a vacant house in east Feliciana Parish.
Hartman vanished a month ago. Investigators say somebody tipped them off Friday that she was killed.
Keller's boyfriend, Kendall Scott is in jail for murdering the 58-year old.
Also in jail are Naomi Wheat and Shedrick Law, charged with accessory to murder.
Neighbors tell News 2 the suspects lived in the same house, and they sensed something was strange for quite some time.
Tunya Jenkins says, "I sent her daughter a text message asking her did she put a message on facebook. Maybe somebody will call for information. I never heard back from her."
Those who lived next-door to this tragedy say Keller was easily influenced by her Scott and convinced her mom to let other people live there.
Jenkins explains, "If someone needed a place to live whether they were homeless whatever. Just all around good person."
Detectives aren't saying how or why Hartman was killed. They're hoping an autopsy Monday will shed more light on the investigation.
