DONALDSONVILLE - A Darrow man was convicted of manslaughter in the deadly shooting of his co-worker outside a Burnside grocery store almost two years ago.
At trial, Renaldo Claiborne claimed self-defense in the Dec. 12, 2008, shooting that killed 50-year-old Alcee Miller of Darrow.
Defense attorney Pegram Mire Jr. said Miller was "a bully" who threatened his client's life before the slaying with a knife and pointed a gun at him.
