Dardenne back in office full time after surgery
BATON ROUGE- Lieutenant Governor Jay Dardenne says he expects this week to be his first, full week back in office. Dardenne was diagnosed with prostate cancer last summer.
He had surgery last month and says the outlook is good.
Dardenne says the timing could not be better.
He expects 2011 to be one of the best years for tourism in Louisiana history.
Louisiana's Bicentennial celebration will include events in each parish.
says national events like the BCS Championship, the men's Final Four and the 2013 Super Bowl will only add to the tourism growth.
