Dan Klein Rodeo helps fire department
CLINTON - The 21st Annual Dan Klein Rodeo is happening this weekend.
Part of the proceeds are going to the McManus Fire Department. The fire department has been around for the past 28 years and relies heavily on the rodeo to maintain the station.
They are able to purchase gear and equipment with the funds.
"Come out to the rodeo and support the fire department. The Klein brothers are good people. They've put this on for the last 21 years. They do a good job. You'll enjoy it," said Bob King, from the fire station.
Games, food, horse rides and bull riding will be at the rodeo. The gates open at 6:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Things get started at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 a piece and free for kids under 5.
