D'Iberville man killed while seeking help after car trouble
PASCAGOULA - A 50-year-old D'Iberville man has been killed on Interstate 10.
Jackson County Chief Deputy Coroner Jason Moody told The Sun Herald that it appears the man was hit as he tried to flag down help after experiencing car trouble.
The victim in the early Saturday morning accident was identified as Claude W. McEwen.
He was pronounced dead at the scene in Jackson County.
Mississippi Highway Patrol spokesman Chase Elkins said no arrests were made Saturday morning but that the accident is still under investigation.
