Czechs help to rebuild West, Texas after blast

PRAGUE- To honor thousands of Czechs who settled in Texas more than a hundred years ago, the Czech Republic will donate about $200,000 to help rebuild the town of West, Texas after a fertilizer plant explosion nearly leveled the town. The government says a significant number of people in the town of about 2,700 have Czech roots. The Czech Ambassador to the U.S. visited West last week and asked officials how to help.
