AIGLE, Switzerland - Cycling's governing body says it will respond Monday to the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency report on Lance Armstrong.

The UCI received USADA's report last week and has until the end of the month to decide whether to ratify the agency's decision to strip Armstrong of his seven Tour de France titles or appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

USADA banned Armstrong for life and said he should be stripped of his tour titles because of his involvement in the "most sophisticated, professionalized and successful doping program that sport has ever seen."

The cycling body said in a statement Friday that its president, Pat McQuaid, will "inform on the UCI position concerning the USADA decision on the Armstrong case."
