Curfew going into effect for EBR tonight
BATON ROUGE - City-parish authorities announced a curfew for East Baton Rouge Parish tonight.
EBR Mayor-President Kip Holden said the curfew would last from 6 p.m. tonight to 6 a.m. Thursday.
Baton Rouge Police Chief Dewayne White said this curfew was "needed" with the amount of damage that was done by Isaac to the city-parish.
Businesses with employees who need to be on the road during those hours can get information about credentialing by visiting the Red Stick Ready website.
