Cruise ship accident leaves worker dead
NEW ORLEANS - A crew member of a Carnival cruise ship docked in the port of New Orleans was crushed to death by machinery in an accident Sunday morning.
Spokesman for the port of New Orleans Matt Gresham said that the man was working on the outside of the ship when an accident took place at around 10 a.m. and the man was killed.
The Coast Guard is currently investigating the incident.
