Crews work overnight to clear overturned tanker truck
BATON ROUGE- Emergency crews will work overnight Wednesday, and into early Thursday morning to clear an 18-wheeler crash near an elementary school.
Hours earlier, the tanker, hauling ethylene glycol, overturned. The chemical is a compound used in automotive antifreeze.
No injuries were reported, nor was there a report of serious environmental issues.
Crews were going to work to off load the chemicals into another truck.
Details about the school being opened Thursday were not released.
