ASCENSION – The Ascension Department of Public Works will begin to replace several culverts in Gonzales and Britanny areas on Monday, Nov. 28.

Crews will replace culverts on both ends of Bart Street in Brittany with the first on being replaced at Bart Street and Highway 941. The second culvert will be replaced at Bart Street and Jeff Street.

The work is expected to be completed in two days.

Crews will replace culverts under Depen Street off Highway 74 in Gonzales. A temporary road will be constructed so that traffic will not be effected. That work is expected to be completed in one month.
