WBRZ - Baton Rouge

LIVINGSTON - Firefighters are spending the evening looking for the source of a mysterious plume of smoke that's prompted numerous calls to the WBRZ News 2 newsroom Wednesday evening.

People have reported seeing the smoke in the northeastern sky.

In Livingston Parish, fire crews are checking areas of Denham Springs.

So far, firefighters there and in Baton Rouge said they are not working a fire.
