Crews respond to large fire
BATON ROUGE - Multiple fire crews responded to a large house fire in Old South Baton Rouge Tuesday morning.
The fire broke out a few blocks away from McKinley High School on East Johnson Street.
Firefighters said one house was completely destroyed before the fire was brought under control, and a second home was damaged on the side facing the fire. Electrical lines near the homes were also downed by the fire.
EMS said no one was reported injured at this time. Roads around this fire were also shut down while crews responded.
