Credit card thief sought
BATON ROUGE - Sheriff's deputies released images of a woman they said used a stolen credit card recently in East Baton Rouge Parish.
Deputies said the card was stolen from its owner's purse at a local medical facility on Aug. 28. The victim later got a call from the card issuer that it had been used for two unauthorized purchases at the CVS located at 12880 Airline Highway.
Investigators said the woman using the card in surveillance images was wearing a white top with a green undershirt and a long dress.
Anyone with information about her identity or the stolen credit cards should call the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office at (225) 389-5000. They offered cash reward for information which leads to an arrest.
