Crash knocks down utility pole, closes Greenwell Springs Road
BATON ROUGE - Drivers are urged to avoid Greenwell Spring Road north of Sherwood Forest in East Baton Rouge Parish.
According to State Police, a crash knocked down a utility pole. The roadway was completely shutdown for a couple hours, but both westbound lanes and one eastbound lane had reopened at the time of this post.
No word on the cause of the crash or the condition of any drivers/passengers at this time.
