OXNARD, Calif. - Dallas Cowboys Pro Bowl tight end Jason Witten sustained a "slightly lacerated" spleen in the preseason opener Monday night against Oakland. He's expected to miss the rest of the preseason. Witten will rest for the rest of the week then be reassessed to see if surgery is needed.
