THIBODAUX - The mother of a disabled boy who was beheaded on Sunday wrote - when he was less than six months old - that his father wanted him dead because the baby was suffering.
Jesslyn Lirette's statement in September 2004 brought a restraining order against Jeremiah Wright from a Lafourche Parish judge.
Lirette also got an order against Wright in April 2004 - six days before Jori Lirette's premature birth.
But she apparently let the orders lapse.
Wright has been booked with murder of the 7-year-old, whose head was placed in his front yard.
According to a police lieutenant's sworn statement, Jori was killed shortly after Lirette left to get her truck, saying she was going to move Wright out of their house.
