A state judge in Farmerville has dismissed a Ringgold woman's lawsuit over payment for natural gas
from her wells.

Monroe attorney and Drum Energy owner Thomas Grant paid Virginia Cobb $39,000 after she won a lawsuit in 2007, over natural gas from her wells from January 1997 to November 2007.

Cobb, owner of MissChub LLC, says she never cashed those checks because she was owed more.

She said she should get the average value of the output from 11 wells that use the same master
meter as her four wells.

But Grant's attorney presented evidence that she was paid for the gas from her wells.
