Baton Rouge - Maggie Howes is a stay at home mom, but she's still making money for her family by clipping coupons. She's not just saving a few dollars; Maggie Howes has turned couponing into an art form.
She saves enough money on a monthly basis to pay for her husband's new car.
And when she took us along with her on a shopping trip, we watched her turn a $120 shopping bill to just $40.
Maggie says she does it by sticking to her list, doubling up on deals, and counting couponing as her second job.
To make couponing easier on others, she started a blog. On My Baton Rouge Mommy, Maggie updates readers on the latest deals and coupons and gives tips on how best to stretch your dollar.
She also offers free couponing classes around the Baton Rouge area.
There she teaches rooms full of women just how to best use coupons to get the most bang for you buck.
