Couple now wanted for Ethel murders
BATON ROUGE - State Police said two people named as persons of interest in an East Feliciana Parish double murder last week are now suspected of committing those killings.
Investigators said they now have warrants for first degree murder for Armandao Reyes Diaz, 31, and Dulce Maria Funez, 34.
Detectives believe the two were involved in the April 27 murders of Connie and Eddie Earl Hall, who were found stabbed to death in their Ethel home.
State Police said they believe Diaz and Funez may still be traveling together with a boy younger than 10 years old. They said last week the couple may be in a white 2009 Nissan Versa with Louisiana license plate WMH918, dark tinted windows, black wheels, and a small white sticker on the lower left rear glass.
Anyone with information about this crime of Diaz and Funez's location should call LSP at (225) 925-6536, or submit anonymous tips by texting CS225 and the message to 274637. A cash reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest in this case.
