Couple murdered inside Ethel home
ETHEL- Investigators with the State Police Crime Lab spent the day processing evidence at a home where a married couple was shot to death.
Connie Hall and Eddie Earl Hall were found shot to death Sunday around 4 p.m., in the 4000 block of Lillian Lane in East Feliciana Parish. Investigators today were tight-lipped about any details involving the murders.
"It's very concerning to me that this would happen right in our neighborhood," Neighbor William Fellows said. "Most people here are substantial citizens."
Fellows said it's concerning to him that someone would gun down the couple on their dead end street. Other neighbors recall the couple always in their yard, tending to the vegetable gardens they had that they shared with the street.
"They were real good folks," Doug Snider said. "It's scary thinking something like that could happen out here."
The couple is related to East Feliciana Parish Police Juror Chris Hall. He declined to comment today, but said the family is extremely distraught.
Neighbors just want the person responsible brought to justice.
"Me and my wife have lived back here for 22 years," Snider said. "We've never had to lock our doors, never had to take keys out of vehicles. I probably shouldn't say that, but that's just how comfortable we are out here."
Call the East Feliciana Sheriff's Office if you have any information that can help them solve this double murder.
