The crash occurred four and a half miles west of Sugartown.
Louisiana State Police Troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash on Louisiana Highway 112 at Louisiana Highway 399 in Beauregard Parish. The driver of the log truck, 68-year-old Charles Davis, was flown to a Rapides Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries.
The crash remains under investigation. Friday morning, starting at 9 a.m., crews will work to retrieve logs from along the roadside of LA 112 at the crash location.
