Couple arrested in dollar store shooting
BATON ROUGE - Police arrested a couple involved in a shooting outside a dollar store last month.
Baton Rouge Police arrested 22-year-old Junise Griffin and 21-year-old Oliver Robinson after they got in an argument with two of the victims inside a Dollar General store on the 5400 block of Airline Highway around 5 p.m on April 17th.
Victims told police Griffin pulled out a gun and started to threaten them and then handed it to Robinson who started to shoot.
Both victims escaped unharmed, but police say a third victim was shot in the arm when she was stuck in her car in-between the feuding group.
The driver was transferred to Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge with non-life threatening injuries.
Robinson and Griffin were both booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison Friday on charges of attempted murder, illegal use of a weapon and criminal damage to property.
