You Decide: Delay bond proposal vote?

A special meeting is being considered in order to pull East Baton Rouge Parish's $901 million bond issue from the November 14 ballot, and put it off until possibly next spring.

The meeting, which would take place October 12, is being sought by council members Chandler Loupe, Trae Welch and Joel Boe'.

Welch says putting off the election would allow time to firm up land ownership and right of way issues to the $225 million Alive riverfront attraction project.
