Cosmetic injection death
JACKSON, MISSISSIPPI- A woman testified she was only trying to help Karima Gordon when she arranged illegal silicon buttocks injections that led to Gordon's death. But a jury didn't believe her and she was found guilty of manslaughter.
Natasha Stewart, also known as Pebblez Da Model, was originally charged with depraved-heart murder. Stewart says Gordon was insecure about her body and wanted help fixing a previously botched enhancement.
Stewart hooked Gordon up with a woman she claimed was a nurse for $200. Gordon later died of silicon in her lungs.
Stewart testified she thought the person who did the injection was a nurse that had gotten the shots herself more than 20 times.Stewart was also convicted of conspiracy and now faces 20-years on both charges.
