Coroner's office says 'skeletal human remains' found off Airline Highway
BATON ROUGE - Police are responding to reports of a body found in a field in Baton Rouge Monday.
Police say a passerby made the discovery in the 7100 block of Airline Highway just before 3 p.m. The EBR coroner's office says the body was "skeletal human remains" by the time it was discovered Monday.
The identity of the person and the cause of death are still unknown at this time.
