BATON ROUGE - A man found dead in a Baton Rouge pool slipped and drowned, according to the coroner's office.

BRPD and EMS were called to reports of a possible drowning in the 7000 block of Victoria Gardens Court, and found the man dead in a pool.

Coroners and investigators later said the man slipped into the pool and couldn't swim, and drowned as a result.

The man's identity was not released.
