Cops raid Tigerland bar, arrest underage drinkers
BATON ROUGE - Police said officers raided a Tigerland bar last weekend and made arrests for underage drinking and fake IDs.
Cpl. L'Jean Mckneely Jr. said they were responding to numerous complaints about underage drinking at "The House", a bar located at 1003 Bob Pettit Blvd., and they raided the bar on May 2.
Police said they charged a total of 16 individuals with underage alcohol related crimes including minor in possession of alcohol, no identification, and false identification.
Authorities said the bar was issued 19 summons for ABC violations including allowing a 17-year-old onto the premises, serving alcohol to underage persons, and failing to check for lawful identification.
