Cops promise major presence for Nashville marathon
NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE- Authorities in Nashville say they have no known threat for the St. Jude Country Music Marathon on Saturday, but runners will see a strong presence of security from start to finish. The event draws about 30,000 runners. Federal, state and local authorities say they've planned for every contingency. The plans got another going-over since the bombings at the Boston Marathon last week. One of the measures is clear plastic bags so runners can store gear.
