RICHMOND, TX - A Texas woman is lucky to be alive after a police officer heroically pulled her from the path of a speeding train.

Investigators say the woman laid down on the tracks Sunday, and planned to let the train hit her. The cop's dashboard came shows him drive up and rush drag her out of harm's way. Then he holds the screaming and crying woman back until the train passes.

Neither the cop of woman was injured in the incident. She was taken to the hospital for a mental evaluation.
