Cool Schools: West Feliciana High School Senior Spotlight
ST. FRANCISVILLE- The Duke Blue Devils are national champions, and soon one senior at West Feliciana High School will call the school "home".
Ngozi Nwabueze moved to West Feliciana when she was two years old. Her father is from Nigeria and her mom's from Trinidad.
Nwabueze was named student of the year, a national merit finalist, and a national achievement semi-finalist.
With a great GPA and several activities on her resume, she will be heading to Durham, North Carolina in the fall.
"I plan to study neuroscience, cognitive studies, psychology, and then go pre-med," said Nwabueze. "I want to go to medical school and just try to help people and give back to my community."
Her classmates call the future doctor "a team player with a stand-out personality."
"She's really smart, she studies a lot, and is always taking a lot of notes," said John Willis, another senior at the school.
Ngozi says if you really want something it doesn't matter what other people say, you should go for it, because in the end it will really pay off.
