Christmas Forecast: As you and your family wake up to check what's under the tree, there will be bright sunshine. A beautiful sight but certainly a different feel as you step out the door. Thermometers will be in the upper 20s as overnight conditions have been ideal for cooling (and toy delivery) with clear skies and light winds.
After the below freezing start, the Christmas forecast might better call for hot chocolate, a fire and warm blankets. A disturbance is moving through the upper levels off to our south, but very little moisture is associated with it. Therefore, the afternoon on this Christmas Day will feature sunshine with a few passing clouds and highs in the middle 50s. Into the night, things will remain quiet, mainly clear and cool once again with lows near 30°.
