TUCSON, Arizona- Thieves grabbed and ran off with two Girl Scout Troops' cash boxes while they were selling cookies outside stores. In one case, the scouts were outside a grocery store when two women spoke with the girls before one grabbed the cash box containing about $375. The women got away in a car that had the license plate covered. The other heist was in front of a bookstore involving another set of scouts and the thief took off and hopped a fence with about $250. The leader of the Southern Arizona chapter of the scouts says the organization will consider what can be done to improve security.
