Fort Hood gunman being assessed for PTSD
FORT HOOD- An official said the soldier who opened fire at a military establishment Wednesday was being assessed for whether he had PTSD.
Four people were killed, including the gunman. Sixteen others were wounded in the attack, all were military members.
Lt. Gen. Mark A. Milley said there is no indication the shooting was related to terrorism.
While Milley refused to name the gunman, since relatives had not yet been notified, others reported him as Ivan Lopez, 34.
Speaking in Chicago, the president said the government will get to the bottom of what happened.
"We're heartbroken that something like this might've happened again," Obama said.
