BIG SUR, CALIFORNIA- North America's largest birds can be seen in the wild from the comfort of your own home.
A solar-powered "condor cam" in the hills above Big Sur on the central California coast captures the big birds in their natural habitat.
The live-streaming camera at www.ventana.org went online Monday.
There are about 430 of the vulture-like birds are alive in the world.
The camera has already captured video of the Condors feeding and preening.
The camera is aimed at the main feeding area and it allows scientists to zoom in on individual birds so researchers can identify them.
