BAYOU CORNE - Preparing for a worst-case scenario is what residents are cautious of in the homes surrounding a massive sinkhole in Assumption Parish.

A source tells News2 the road leading to a relief work-site started to dip and buckle, months ago, indicating the problem below the surface was big.
Governor Bobby Jindal will meet with Assumption Parish leaders Monday, to address the ongoing situation in Bayou Corne.
Environmental activist, Erin Brockovich will meet with residents in the area today, News2 will be at that meeting that starts this afternoon.
