Computer repair store robbed
BATON ROUGE - Police asked for the public's help finding the man who robbed a computer repair store in Baton Rouge after threatening employees with a knife.
Detectives said the robbery at Dot Calm Computer Repairs on Government Street happened around 10:34 a.m. Monday. They said the robber got away with merchandise and money from the business, and nobody was hurt.
Employees told police the man came by asking about a laptop on display, then left and came back a few minutes later to ask about other items. The employees said the man then pulled out a large knife and demanded money and merchandise, then fled on foot after they were handed over.
Police said the armed man was described as a black male, 5'9"-5'10", 21-23 years of age with a skinny build and low haircut. They said he was wearing a white zip-up hooded jacket with denim jeans.
