BATON ROUGE- A computer glitch caused quite a stir among upperclassmen at LSU over university football tickets.

An email alerting them that student tickets were available indirectly was marked as spam, so it was filed in another folder in most people's inbox. Not realizing the email cam and they did not see it, they missed the deadline to buy tickets.

There is an appeals process, but last day to file is Friday.

"Don't miss your ticket window; make sure you check your spam box," said senior Erica Sweeney.

"Games in Death Valley are one of the hallmarks of the LSU student experience," Student Body President John Woodard said. "We are concerned about reports of students missing the ordering deadline because the email was marked as SPAM, and we will work with the Athletic Department to ensure a favorable outcome for the students we represent."
