The St. Vincent de Paul Community Pharmacy serves about 10,000 families every year by filling almost $2 million in prescriptions.
Lately, even more folks have been asking for help. Men and women who have recently lost their jobs in these tough economic times have been relying on St. Vincent de Paul.
To keep up with the demand, 1,000 square feet is being added to the Community Pharmacy. A larger waiting room is under construction, as is more space for volunteer pharmacists to work and store prescription medication. The upgrades should be done before Christmas.
