WBRZ - Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE- A new commission has been created to address the parish's public transit challenges.

17 community members will be tasked with the following:

-Gather community input to prioritize future projects

-Estimate costs of the projects and consider alternative and sustainable revenue services to fund the projects

-Determine the best way to present initiatives to East Baton Rouge voters

-Consider all other factors that the commission thinks are important

The members are various leaders within business, church, and education communities.
