Cold Kills Couple
An elderly couple from Pennsylvania died from apparent exposure to the cold in a farm field in Frederick County, Maryland. Eighty-five year old William Frecsch and his 79-yearold wife, Betty, were last seen Friday leaving their daughter's home in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Authorities say the couple drove off a road and into a ravine and got stuck. They apparently started walking for help and fell victim to the cold. A passerby found the bodies Tuesday morning and autopsies will be done to determine the exact cause of death.
