Cold causing low water pressure in Assumption Parish
ASSUMPTION PARISH - Officials say residents in Assumption Parish are experiencing lower-than-normal water pressure due to 'extremely low' temperatures in the area.
As of Tuesday, parish officials warned residents of the sudden drop in pressure, noting that the problem will likely persist through Friday as temperatures are expected to stay below freezing.
Residents are also asked to report any leaks at 985-369-6156.
