Cockfighting princess sold booze to customers
PORTLAND, OREGON- A Romanian princess and her husband accused of holding cockfighting derbies sold food and alcohol at the affairs. Investigators say two informants secretly recorded the cockfights over a period of a year and say the videos show Irina Walker, the daughter of the last king of Romania and her husband, John, operating the illegal operation. He is a former deputy sheriff. Authorities say they seized cash, financial records, cell phones, guns and fighting implements from the couples' ranch. The couple pleaded not guilty to running an illegal gambling operation and conspiring to violate the Animal Welfare Act.
