Coast Guard searching Mississippi River for missing worker
GEISMAR - Members of the U.S. Coast Guard are searching for a man who fell off a tugboat into the Mississippi River Thursday morning.
According to the Coast Guard, the unidentified man fell in the river near mile marker 183, around the area of Geismar, sometime earlier this morning. He was last seen wearing an orange work vest.
No further info has been released by the Coast Guard.
