Clinton, Trump notch wins in Louisiana primaries
NEW ORLEANS - Businessman Donald Trump and former secretary of state Hillary Clinton have scored wins in the presidential primaries in Louisiana.
Trump took the Saturday Republican primary over Texas Sen. Ted Cruz while Clinton scored a large win over Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.
Neighboring Mississippi will vote on Tuesday.
Louisiana was one of five states to vote Saturday. Trump won in Louisiana and Kentucky while Cruz won in Kansas and Maine. Sanders won in Nebraska and Kansas.
