WASHINGTON - Doctors say they expect Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton to make a full recovery from a blood clot in her head.
They also say there has been no neurological damage from the clot, which apparently developed when Clinton fainted and fell at her home. A stomach virus had caused her to be dehydrated. She's being treated with blood thinners.
Clinton was admitted to a New York hospital on Saturday. Today she was photographed getting into a black van with her husband, Bill, daughter, Chelsea, and a security contingent to be taken elsewhere on the sprawling New York-Presbyterian Hospital campus. She hasn't been seen publicly since Dec. 7.
The State Department says Clinton continues to work and has been speaking with staff and reviewing paperwork.
