LAFAYETTE- A volunteer who has helped in the search for a missing Lafayette Parish teenager says she has drawn hope from the sight of three young kidnap victims being reunited with their families in Cleveland.

The Lafayette girl, Keiosha Felix, has been missing since April of 2012.

Volunteer organizer Tammy Charles says the fact that the three young women in Cleveland were found a decade after they disappeared shows that the search for Keiosha is no less significant now than it was a year ago.

The teen was last seen leaving her paternal aunt's mobile home in Duson on April 30, 2012.

Her 16th birthday was last month.

The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office says it has devoted nearly 1,500 investigative hours in search efforts.
