BATON ROUGE- The full council will also decide next week whether people with outstanding parking tickets and warrants can be denied a city permit.

The "Clean Hands" ordinance allows the city to run background checks on people trying to get a permit. If you owe the city, you don't get one.

Tonight, the proposal made it through a committee. It goes to the council next week.
