Civil suit filed in altercation with debris workers
GRAND ISLE - A Hurricane Isaac debris worker who said she was spit on last year during a profanity-laced tirade by a Grand Isle businessman filed a civil suit against him today.
Brandi Worley videotaped the confrontation with Josh Jambon in Sept. 2012. The video showed Jambon slapping workers and using racial epithets.
Police arrested Jambon on suspicion of battery, and two of the workers filed suit against him. Worley's suit today claims Jambon violated her civil rights as well as committing assault and battery.
The matter is due in court next week.
