City leaders delete proposed law about dogs

BATON ROUGE- City leaders removed an agenda item from Wednesday's Metro Council meeting that would have restricted how long a dog could be tethered.

Councilman John Delgado pulled the ordinance and did not say if he would add it to an agenda later.

The law would have made it illegal to have a dog tethered for longer than an hour.
